Introducing the Socratic Practice Network, who wants to join?

Right up front, this is a new initiative and opportunity, one that will develop as we evolve, are you a little excited and up for the challenge? You need a little more detail.

Imagine, talking and sharing your ideas with people that are open and willing to learn with you, about you, and provide their insights into your success. Is that a network of people you would be comfortable referring to and inviting to challenge your thinking, which in turn creates better decisions and outcomes for you?

There are many networking groups, and they all look to create maximum referrals for you as soon as possible to create that return on your membership fees. The problem with all these I have found is they compromise themselves to achieve this, by forcing the referral before you understand the person and or business.

There are those networks that are Business or Life Coach focused, where inevitably the motivation is to engage you in personal coaching, the question remaining is who is this best for? The coach or the attendee.

Once I left the network group, I quickly lost the business because the relationship was never that strong or grounded in common principles, ethics and understanding. I also noticed that I had gained no other benefits, education or practices to improve or assist me, other than those tenuous referrals.

Well, the Socratic Practice Network is a big twist on this as it is an open forum, which allows you to improve your thinking, and your understanding of yourself, to build honest, real, and authentic relationships with your fellow members, which endure beyond your membership. Referrals will happen because once you have developed that level of trust with your fellow members the respect you have for each other will have you doing business together for the rest of your lives.

What makes this all happen? The teachings of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle are called the Socratic method, which we are going to learn by practicing in these meetings, with our members.
