Governing judgement in an AI-accelerated world.
Technology can scale information. It cannot replace responsibility for decisions.
AI, Judgement & Opinion
I believe boards must govern decision systems, not only outcomes.
Artificial intelligence is changing how decisions are informed, influenced and accelerated. I believe the board challenge is whether judgement, accountability and trust can keep pace.
For me, Opinion is an evolving framework for making the quality of collective thinking visible—focusing on how people reason together rather than the positions they hold.
Think & Meet
Leadership through disciplined dialogue.
Through Think and Meet, I create structured, psychologically safe environments where participants can explore complex or contested issues without pressure to perform, persuade or dominate.
- Framed around a governance-relevant question.
- Facilitated for balanced participation.
- Structured to encourage listening before responding.
- Designed to surface assumptions, risks and second-order effects.
From my original Critical Thinking site
“The unchallenged opinion is not worth pursuing.”
Critical thinking is not about being critical. It is about listening, questioning and taking responsibility for examining what we are asked to believe.
The earlier Socratic Practice Network material remains part of my exploration of how people discuss, learn and challenge one another with respect.
